Dear eDruggers,

The College of Engineering and School of Public Health, Social Innovation on 
Drug Resistance Program is seeking Postdoctoral associate for a project focused 
on social, behavioral, and policy factors contributing to antibiotic resistance 
in both human and veterinary sectors. The postdoctoral associate will be 
working on an interdisciplinary project studying the role of poor quality 
medicine on the emergence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

The postdoctoral associate will have opportunities to engage in research 
examining the social, behavioral, and economic factors that result in the 
distribution, procurement, and administration of poor quality human and 
veterinary medicines in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Working as part of a team on 
the main project, the associate will have opportunities to present research at 
national and international meetings, publish research findings in peer-reviewed 
journals and special interest publications, and write reports for practice and 
policy audiences.

This is a two year position, with a start date on or after July 1, 2018. The 
position is fully funded for two years. The expectation is that the applicants 
supports the research group to raise funds for an additional year.
