E-DRUG: Empower successful completion of the training on Promoting Access to 
Medicines

We are delighted to announce that the Training Program on Promoting Access
to Medicines, organized by Empower School of Health, a Centre of Excellence
for Global Health Supply Chain Management, accredited by The Chartered
Institute of Logistics and Transport, India, has been successfully
completed.

It was a 5-day face-to-face training held in Geneva, Switzerland from 20th
June - 24th June, 2016.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRAINING:

Participants' profiles: mid to senior level participants from 10 countries
attended the training, representing 12 public and private health
organizations including UN agencies, Ministries of Health, international
NGOs among others

Experience: about 50% participants had less than 5 years, 30% had 5-10
years and 20% had more than 10 years of PSM experience

Trainers: expert faculty from the WHO, Global Fund, UNDP, EGPAF, Stop TB,
IFRC, UNAIDS, Merck & Sanofi, besides in-house trainers and experts from
Empower School of Health

Mode of delivery: face-to-face training with case studies and working
groups and 2 weeks online UNDP course on PSM
