E-DRUG: ICIUM-2011: register interest in participation by Jan. 15
Invitations to officially register for ICIUM-2011 participation will be going
out soon. Recipients of these invitations will be drawn from those individuals
who have expressed interest in attending ICIUM-2011, individuals who have had
abstracts accepted, key policy makers, and other program participants.
We have had an overwhelming response so far, with approximately 1100 abstracts
submitted and over 1200 individuals, thus far, indicating they would like to
attend. Since attendance will be limited to approximately 500 individuals
(likely somewhat higher due to level of interest), it is clear that not
everyone expressing interest will be able to attend. Since the focus of the
conference is on the presentation, summarization, and discussion of ways to
improve medicines use and health, especially for vulnerable populations, and to
help shape evidence-based policy recommendations and a future research agenda
on improving access and use, conference organizers will be looking for a rich
mix of individuals to participate.
If you are interested in and planning on attending and have not registered your
interest to attend ICIUM-2011, we would urge you to do so by January 15, 2011.
