[e-drug] EPN Guidelines for effective and efficient pharmaceutical services

E-DRUG: EPN Guidelines for effective and efficient pharmaceutical services
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you know that...

if a pharmaceutical unit is not well managed, it can compromise the efficiency,
effectiveness and quality of health service delivery?

It follows therefore that in order to achieve the health-related millennium
development goals and other global health targets, we need to invest in
pharmacy services.

That is why the Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network has developed 25 Guidelines
for Effective and Efficient Pharmaceutical Services

* to support health facility managers, pharmaceutical personnel and all those
involved in pharmaceutical service delivery

* to increase access to medicines and improve the quality of patient care by
responding to such critical questions as:
     - Do you ensure optimal medicines storage and management?
     - Do you regularly assess the work of the pharmaceutical unit?

Go to our website:
http://www.epnetwork.org/access-to-essential-medicines-guidelines
to find out more!

or send an e-mail to info@epnetwork.org to receive the EPN Guidelines for
Effective and Efficient Pharmaceutical Services [if you are not (yet) an EPN
member; moderator]
