[e-drug] FIP launches International Network for Pharmacists on HIV/AIDS

EDRUG: FIP launches International Network for Pharmacists on HIV/AIDS
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Colleague,

It is with great pleasure that you are invited to view and take part in
the newly launched International Network for Pharmacists on HIV/AIDS, an
initiative created by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

The Network aims to provide a platform for discussion and information
sharing for pharmacists working in and interested in the area of
HIV/AIDS.

The documentation available on the site includes:

- A literature review on the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of
pharmacist interventions in improving the prevention and treatment of
HIV/AIDS;

- The HIV/AIDS training modules, prepared on behalf of FIP and which are
now being reviewed by WHO for endorsement,

- as well as various links.

Visit the website at http://www.fip.org/hivaids.

Your comments and discussions on this new network, in particular on the
training and review documents provided on the site, are welcomed and can
be sent to hivaids@fip.org .

Please also feel free to circulate this message to any interested
colleagues.

We look forward to your active participation in the network.

Sincerely,

Teresa L. Alves, Pharmacist
