E-DRUG: pharmacy practice in developing countries (2)

Dear Bhava Narayana,

I would like to inform you about our association from Nepal,
Nepal Pharmaceutical Association which have been involved in development of
overall pharmaceutical sector in Nepal since its establishment in 1972.

I also request you to refer to my message posted in E-drug on March 18,2004
and in I drug on March 16, 2004.

We do not have any national GPP guideline in our country. A workshop was
organized just last month by our drug regulatory authority, Department of
Drug Information, Ministry of Health and World Health Organization to
develop GPP guidelines in our country and I believe that the guideline is in
the stage of preparation.

Main resource person for the workshop was Mr. Brijesh Regal,
who is from India and who had been involved in preparation of GPP guideline
in India.

I hope that the information is of some help to you.

If you have any additional queries related to pharmacy practice and our
organization, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you

Eurek Ranjit, Pharmacist
