The 2005 Global Health Bureau Mini University will be held on
Friday, October 14, 2005 from 8:30-4:30 at the Academy for Edu-
cational Development Conference Center located at 1825 Connecti-
cut Ave., NW, 8th floor, Washington, DC.

The event is free and open to anyone interested in international
What is the Mini University? The Mini University is a day-long
forum that features more than 50 presentations highlighting
"best practices" in a variety of technical areas from across the
Global Health Bureau.
NEW at the Mini-U! Registered nurses and nurse-midwives may now
earn up to four Continuing Education Units from the American
College of Nurse Midwives for only $25! Check the schedule for

should be made payable to Johns Hopkins University. All other
sessions are free. (ACNM CEUs are recognized by the National
Certification Corporation (NCC) of Obstetrical, Gynecological,
and Neonatal Nursing).
