AFRO-NETS> New list: Practice of Health Care in Developing Countries

New list: Practice of Health Care in Developing Countries
---------------------------------------------------------

I refer to the message of the Moderator where it is stated: "... due
to the enormous increase in messages sent via AFRO-NETS, which might
overburden some subscribers I suggest that those who are interested
in regular postings like 'Dateline Health Nigeria' or 'The Drum Beat'
subscribe directly to the respective postings - for details see below
- so that AFRO-NETS is reserved for its original purpose, i.e. dis-
cussions on Health Research for Development, questions and actual an-
nouncements."

Tena is a newly started discussion list and is open to everyone who
wishes to discuss topics related to the practice of health care in
developing countries. The emphasis is on general practice at dis-
trict-level hospital and community health services.

This list aims to be a forum for physicians to:
* exchange ideas on how to improve the health service,
* to discuss practical issues that health workers meet in their daily
  work.
